Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will coordinate the deployment of the global PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) program within the System Drives division. You ensure seamless implementation of PLM in local organizations in collaboration with Local PLM Deployment Leads. You’ll manage the onboarding of the product portfolio into the PLM platform, acting as the program deployment manager for the System Drives Division and its Product Groups.The PLM journey for System Drives involves creating a comprehensive roadmap that addresses business process changes, product development and maintenance, data migration, and project execution. A key part of this journey is the global deployment and roll-out of the new way of working.You will work in co-operation with internal and external experts of Drives on the cross divisional level to execute the PLM implementation. You will report to Platforms and Technology Manager of the System Drives.The work model for the role is: hybrid ; #LI-HybridThe role is contributing to the Motion / System Drives division globally. Business travel for this role is expected around 10-15%.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tImplementing Business Process Changes: Defining and implementing changes to meet division targets.•\tManaging PLM Rollouts: Overseeing PLM rollouts to local organizations with minimal disruption.•\tStakeholder Collaboration: Ensuring open communication and collaboration across functions and with stakeholders.•\tCommunity Building and Values: Building a PLM community at local sites and upholding ABB’s core values of safety and integrity.

Qualifications for the role

\tMinimum 8-10 years of overall work experience, with several years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concept.\tHands-on project management experience (earlier experience in engineering, information systems and product management are an advantage).\tIn-depth experience in business process improvement activities and change management within digital operations planning.\tComprehensive understanding of product information management and data structures.\tConfident leader who can drive a change (organization, process and adoption of system), good influencing and coordination skills.\tAbility to engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.\tCapability to successfully deliver results and cooperate in multi-cultural, multi-location and cross functional environment.\tKnowledge of PTC Windchill is a plus.\tUnderstanding of PDM (Product Data Management) and associated system/tool landscape is an advantage.\tFluent written and spoken skills in English.
