The Work You'll Do:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Global Network Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's global computer networks. The Global Network Lead will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our worldwide network infrastructure, while leading and managing a team of network engineers across multiple locations.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

Global Network Strategy and Architecture: Develop and implement a global network strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives and growth plans. Design and deploy enterprise-wide network architectures, topologies, and protocols to support global operations. Ensure network scalability, redundancy, and fault tolerance across all global locations. Network Operations and Maintenance: Oversee the administration and maintenance of the entire global network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Establish and enforce network policies, standards, and best practices across all locations. Implement and manage network security measures, including access controls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems on a global scale. Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, policies, and procedures. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of network engineers and technicians across multiple locations and time zones. Provide technical guidance, training, and support to the network team. Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and consistent practices among the global network team. Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for network operations. Project Management and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and oversee global network projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets and timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and service providers across different regions for network upgrades, installations, and maintenance. Facilitate communication and alignment among global stakeholders for network-related initiatives. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay updated with emerging network technologies, industry trends, and best practices in global network management. Evaluate and recommend network upgrades or improvements to enhance performance, security, and efficiency across global locations. Develop and implement strategies for global network capacity planning and scalability. Drive innovation and identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve global network operations.

What We Ask From You:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience as a Global Network Lead or a similar role, with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in global network design, implementation, and administration. Extensive knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and architectures (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, WAN optimization). Expertise in network security principles and best practices for global networks. Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Cisco Prime). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for complex global network issues. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams. Project management skills and experience leading and managing global teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, CCIE) are highly desirable. Willingness to travel globally as required.
