Global Mobility Tax Specialist with English - Prague

About the role
We are Global Mobility Department which operates as part of Siemens Shared Service Centre based in Prague, Czech Republic. Our team’s responsibilities include operational tax processes associated with managing our organization’s international workforce and relocations to ensure talent can be deployed where needed while complying with local and international tax laws and regulations.
We are seeking a new colleague to join our global team to manage and oversee tax processes to ensure smooth operation for our internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities
Manage the proprietary Individual Tax compliance processes for our current internal and external customers covering all GMM policies while coordinating with our internal and external partnersAdvise on and executing monthly/annual compensation reporting incl. alignment with respective stakeholders (e.g., payroll, T&E, corporate tax) and external partnersEvaluate new concepts/ process changes/ internal regulations of other departments that are in dependency with Individual Tax compliance topicsCorrect data and document delivery for further tax processing, ensuring that inputs are provided in a timely manner and in line with stipulated cut-off dates and deadlinesManage and coordinate payments of taxes towards the tax authorities globallyPrepare reports, analyse data and track global mobility tax compliance statusCooperate with commercial project managers, local HR partners and tax providersDeep partnership with Payroll team to ensure seamless delivery of expatriate compensationMaintain completeness and accuracy of internal toolsWork with other tax colleagues and case managers to continuously review the effectiveness of operational processes and make improvementsMentor case managers and support colleagues with tax topics and processesGlobal coordination within teamsHandle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications / Skills
High school/university degreeFluent EnglishWorking knowledge of MS Office (strong Excel knowledge preferred)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively and work competently with teams in other geographic locationsKnowledge of expatriate services, global mobility and tax is an advantageIntercultural sensitivityAnalytical thinkingAttracted to a dynamic business culture supporting the firm’s broader growth strategyWork with existing processes/systems whilst making constructive suggestions for improvementsTo be self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented personAbility to work independently, very good time management and prioritisation skillsFlexibility and ability to manage several tasks/priorities in a very fast-paced environment
