We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Global Logistics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient transportation, and delivering actionable insights through data analysis. This role requires exceptional customer service, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, along with foundational knowledge of imports, exports, and transportation modes, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize Excel and Power BI to analyze logistics data and generate reports for enhanced supply chain visibility.Develop dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor transportation performance and identify trends.Present actionable insights and recommendations to optimize logistics operations.Transportation Management:
Manage and track the movement of goods across various transportation modes: air, ocean, rail, Full Truckload (FTL), and Less Than Truckload (LTL).Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Evaluate carrier performance and negotiate service agreements as needed.Import/Export Compliance:
Support compliance with international trade regulations for imports and exports.Ensure accurate documentation, including customs declarations and shipping manifests.Collaborate with the compliance team to stay updated on global trade policies and regulations.Customer Service and Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.Provide timely and accurate updates to customers and resolve any issues or concerns proactively.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on logistics strategies.Process Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies within the logistics network and propose solutions to improve cost and service levels.Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows.Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments, including procurement, inventory, and customer service, to achieve shared goals.Actively contribute to team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving initiatives.Proactive Problem-Solving:
Anticipate potential logistics challenges and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.Continuously seek opportunities to enhance logistics performance and customer satisfaction.Qualifications:
Education: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.Basic knowledge of import/export processes and international trade regulations.Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups, data modeling).Experience with Power BI for creating reports and dashboards.Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools is a plus.Soft Skills:Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.Proactive and self-motivated, with a high level of attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Why Brunswick:
