Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Global Licensing Manager to join the Global Licensing Organization within Military Engines, Integrated Customer Solutions.
The role supports timely and compliant management of licensing initiatives while protecting P&W’s intellectual property (IP).
Responsibilities include fostering stakeholder relationships, administering contracts and amendments and ensuring new initiatives are aligned and integrated with program strategies.
This position will primarily support legacy program initiatives with opportunity to support the broader licensing portfolio. and provide an opportunity to support a broader licensing portfolio.
What You Will Do:
Overall management of licensing initiatives including contracting, authorizations, deliverables, materials, performing reviews, and issuing renewals, extensions and amendments.IP valuations and tech data reviews.Updating, analyzing and reporting on data and findings; ; making recommendations, providing forecasts and planning / execution.Identifying incremental opportunities.Ensuring regular alignment with stakeholders and strong ability to work collaboratively.Increasing capture rates year-over-year.Following protocol and performing due diligence.Building strong relationships with stakeholders.Managing and performing regular site visits, attending engagements and participating in industry day events.Managing dashboard, system and application inputs.Working with cross-functional teams across the organization.Ability to manage and toggle multiple projects; be agile in shifting priority based on guidance of business needs.Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of applicable work experience; or an advanced degree with 5+ years of applicable work experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.Ability to conduct ~10% domestic travel.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Business or Engineering degree highly preferred.Aerospace industry experience. Adaptable, self-motivated and have demonstrated abilities in working effectively to prioritize and manage multiple project workloads focusing on results; well-organized and able to work independently.Proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint); working knowledge of Access is a plus. Strong communication skills and experience reporting and analyzing to turn data sets into actions.Contract drafting and negotiating experience.Excellent problem solving and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to manage and meet multiple goals, plans and milestones – delivering results.Project/Program Management experience; experience with contracts, business development, business intelligence, operations, sales and/or manufacturing. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
