The Global Head of Transfer Agency is a pivotal leadership role within our organization, responsible for the comprehensive management of our transfer agency services inclusive of investor anti-money laundering (Investor AML) and partnership services. Reporting into the Global Practice Executive of Accounting & Fund Services, this role will focus on building out a unified global operating model, implementing scalable and standardized transfer agency, partnership accounting and investor servicing processes and delivering quality excellence while driving innovation and digital modernization of the investor servicing ecosystem.
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead the global transfer agency, client investor services, and partnership services teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services across all regions.
Provide strategic direction and leadership of these functions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, risk management and service excellence.
Build a high performing, diverse team of leaders capable of delivering on the needs of the future.
Operations Management:
Manage all aspects of the transfer agency operations, including the processing of subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches.
Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Oversee the provision of high-quality services to investors, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded. This includes understanding their specific requirements and tailoring services accordingly.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team, providing training and development opportunities, and implementing new technologies and processes to enhance capabilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Client Engagement:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various operational areas to ensure alignment and integration of transfer agency processes.
Engage with external clients to understand their needs and deliver integrated transfer agency and investor solutions and services that add value to their operations.
Foster strong relationships with technology partners to leverage innovative solutions for scalable and efficient transfer agency operations.
Stay abreast of market trends and client needs to inform the development and implementation of technology-driven, scalable solutions.
Expense Management and Value Creation:
Drive cost reduction initiatives through the implementation of scalable operations and the strategic use of technology.
Oversee the fund accounting budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with the firm's financial objectives.
Continually seek opportunities to add value to client operations through the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective fund accounting services.
Leverage data and technology to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
Regional COO Responsibilities:
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, depending on the location of this role, the candidate may also serve as a regional COO for legal entities, providing senior leadership support and insight on legal entity operations.
Act as a key point of contact, liaison and local lead for cross functional client service and incident matters; regulatory and governance bodies and legal entity executives, ensuring transparency, consistency and compliance in all operations.
Leverage deep understanding of investor servicing to inform and guide strategic decisions at the legal entity level.
