Global Head of Business Development, Financial Services

The financial services industry (FSI) is being transformed with AI. We are looking for a global head of business development to grow adoption of our ground-breaking solutions for banks, capital markets, payments and insurance.Your mission is to drive the growth of NVIDIA revenue with financial services customers. You will build verticalized solutions based on NVIDIA hardware and software stacks, in collaboration with ISVs, GSIs and partner ecosystem. You and your team will work directly with developers at FSI companies, ISVs and GSIs to power their business with AI and NVIDIA technology.

This is a highly visible role, where you will work closely with the cross functional top leadership of the company to drive growth. You will be accountable to establish NVIDIA’s leadership in FSI and build and implement the plan for the associated revenue and pipeline growth. The role requires strong executive leadership skills along with ability to deliver sales results. It requires strong domain expertise in financial services segment with executive relationships at end customers and the ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with senior business development, product and sales leadership to drive alignment and build pipeline to expand NVIDIA’s revenue in this segment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced multifaceted environment and enjoys the challenges that rapid growth creates. You should have a consistent record of leadership in a high performing sales/business development organization.

What you'll be doing:

Build and implement the growth plan for FSI segment. Collaborate with top leadership across the company.

Drive the Global FSI strategy with product and geography leaders. Quantify the market opportunity, craft the strategy, define initiatives and outcomes, and orchestrate resources to achieve those outcomes

Collaborate closely with product teams to develop and package FSI specific reference solutions

Build a robust opportunity pipeline and establish long-term business relationships and strategic relevance with selected high-revenue/growth FSI industry customers

Lead a virtual team of technical, business, sales and marketing resources across NVIDIA and our business partners to drive mutual success

Partner with NVIDIA account management teams to drive demand for our platform and accelerate growth

Build and develop sales operations process management, including opportunity management and forecasting

Strategically partner with lighthouse customers and industry-specific application and other solution partners targeting our computing platform

Develop and maintain sales enablement assets and programs – working with marketing and sales operations.

Watch for and develop emerging use cases to help cultivate new vertical opportunities

What we need to see:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) from a leading University. Master’s degree and/or MBA is desirable

20+ overall years of sales or business development experience in FSI technology, embedded and/or software products

7+ years of experience managing an overlay sales organization is highly desirable

Possess a global client contact base, deep domain expertise, and sales and buying practices in the FSI industry

Track record of successfully growing revenue for new innovative industry solutions

Confirmed ability to work effectively in highly matrixed organization

Business knowledge of the global FSI industry market dynamics

Technical knowledge of NVIDIA products and services

Knowledge of pricing strategies and channel economics

Experience with leading and closing complex deal negotiations and alliances

Ability to provide inspirational leadership and drive organizational growth and change

Can present complex marketing and technical content to both internal and external customers

Demonstrated knowledge in influencing business practices and products to better align with customer needs

15+ years of experience in qualifying new customers to enable revenue opportunities, product alignment, and decisions

Proven ability to have a strong technical foundation to establish credibility with customers and/or internal partners

The cash compensation range is 320,000 USD - 488,750 USD, with 85% paid through base salary and 15% variable compensation. Your cash compensation will be determined based on your location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
