To support our customers on their data journey, Snowflake is continuing to add talent and build out our team of industry experts able to work with customers and collaborate across Snowflake to accelerate performance. In summary, the mission for the Snowflake Industry Team is to: Enable companies to accelerate data-driven business performance through industry-specific capabilities powered by Snowflake Data Cloud 

IN THIS GLOBAL GO-TO-MARKET HEAD OF MEDIA, ENTERTAINMENT, & ADVERTISING ROLE YOU WILL:

Thrive at the intersection of Business and Technology. This includes a thorough understanding of how Snowflake’s Data Cloud can provide customer business value, as well as a deep understanding of Snowflake’s Data Cloud workloads and product roadmap

Accelerate Data Network Effects by working tightly with customer to create Industry Data Clouds built on sharing of data within companies and across companies aligned to industry priorities

Develop industry thought leadership content on the business impact of Data Cloud in the industries you support. 

Deliver industry-leading perspectives at Industry events to create understanding of and excitement for the tangible benefits of Data Cloud among business executives

Launch Industry Solutions to solve top priority business problems and secure inclusion of industry-relevant features in our Data Cloud platform

Focus on supporting the most important customers in the Media, Entertainment, & Advertising industry to maximize business benefits of the Data Cloud and in parallel, scale through win-win arrangement with priority GSIs targeting the Media, Entertainment, & Advertising industry

THE GLOBAL GO-TO-MARKET HEAD OF MEDIA, ENTERTAINMENT, & ADVERTISING AT SNOWFLAKE IS EXPECTED TO:

Demonstrate Industry Depth. This includes deep Media, Entertainment, & Advertising industry insights and prior Executive level experience of relevance to industry

Demonstrate Customer Depth with a proven track record of building trust-based relationships with customer CxO-level business executives. Broad understanding of customer trends, likely customer pain points, and ability to anticipate future needs

Utilize Product Depth. Including a passion for and track record of understanding Data/ Analytics/ AI/ML technologies. Along with the ability to quickly build a deep understanding of Snowflake Data Cloud and how to create customer business value tailored to the Media, Entertainment, & Advertising industry

Have experience in a senior leadership position at a relevant company coupled with the demonstrated ability to build followership based on trust vs. authority

Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to motivate teams to achieve joint goals

Demonstrate proven track record of building trust-based relationships with senior customer business executives

Have a results-oriented mindset (combining Fast and Thorough)

Demonstrate a crisp communication style that will result in an ability to explain how Snowflake creates differentiated value to customers in the Media, Entertainment, & Advertising industry

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated base salary range for this role is $242,000 - $361,400.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
