Job DescriptionRole summary:
As part of the ongoing growth of Experian's Global Finance Services (GFS) organisation, an experienced, motivated and proactive Associate Finance Analyst is needed to manage the monthly reporting pack, cleansing data to drive accuracy in reporting, understanding variances within reporting to provide commentary as well as providing support to Global Development Centres (GDC) Finance Manager in preparing presentation decks and reports. This role will be based in Experian's Global Delivery Centre in Cyberjaya, Malaysia and be part of the Global Reporting and Analytics Centre (GRAC), a key and growing part of the GFS team.
What You'll Do:
1) Month-end Reporting:
Participating in month-end activities, ensure that the process follow Group's schedule.Perform data quality checks and standardization across GDCs.Monitor GDC Central costs and ensure monthly cost tracking across all GDCs.Involved in monthly performance variance analysis and commentary.Monitor gross costs monthly to ensure spending following Budget / Forecast.Involved in preparing a Month End reporting pack or presentation pack for the senior leadership team / functional stakeholders.
2) Budget / Forecast / Strat Plan:
Support the GDC forecast and budget process according to the instructions and timeline from Group Finance.Communicate site costs to regions/functions.Collect and input cost drivers into the GAS tool and support analysis.
3) Year End / Half Year:
Follow Group Finance instructions and timetables for year-end and half-year processes.Understand balance sheet items across sites.Help implement group guidance and adjustments.
Other responsibilities:
Conduct any ad-hoc request or analysis, project work (for example: strategic project) and assist with other team activities.Provide support in implementing procedures.Help ensure internal controls are in place and followed.Qualifications
Qualifications
Preferably candidate with Qualified Chartered Accountant with credible university degree qualification or a member of internationally recognized accountancy qualification, i.e. CPA, ACA, CGMA (CIMA) or equivalent.Minimum 3 years working experiences in the finance or audit backgroundOpen to work flexible hours as the role will be heavily supporting finance related globallyOutstanding communication skills, both written and oral, with a focus on inclusivity and clarity.Passionate to work directly with senior executives and manage within a matrix organization.Ability to develop financial information to turn data into insights that lead to driving our decisions.Experienced with large volume, dynamic, complex, international operations.Additional InformationOur uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
