The Global Equipment and Engineering Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes for all equipment products across the organization. Ecolab produces a number of pieces of equipment to dispense chemicals and treat water including: Reverse Osmosis units, 3DTrasar monitoring systems and Purate skids.
This role will ensure that all equipment and engineering activities in regards to these equipment meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The manager will work closely with regional supply chain engineering leaders, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement quality assurance programs and procedures. The role responsibilities also include rollout and maintenance of the Progressive Quality (PQ) Pillar at the equipment manufacturing sites.

This role requires frequent travel to manufacturing sites and vendor locations.The Global Equipment and Engineering Quality Manager will report directly to the VP, Quality & Process Engineering - Industrial.What you will do:
Develop and implement quality assurance programs and procedures for process equipment specifications, procurement, and installation.Ensure compliance with global and local standards, codes, and regulations.Collaborate with regional supply chain engineering leaders to ensure manufacturing sites follow quality assurance procedures for all equipment modifications and new installations.Manage the exception process and authorize any deviations from established quality standards.Conduct vendor qualification and surveillance to ensure suppliers meet quality requirements.Oversee the receiving and storage of new equipment, components, materials, and spare parts.Lead and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) processes to identify and address quality issues.Maintain and update site-specific red lists and reactivity outcomes tables to ensure chemical compatibility and safety.Provide training and support to engineering teams on quality assurance best practices and standards.Collaboration with Research and Development (R&D), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Supply Chain, Logistics, and Engineering to solve systemic issues.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.5-10 years of experience in quality assurance and control, with a focus on equipment and engineering projects.Strong knowledge of global and local standards, codes, and regulations related to equipment and engineering quality.Experience in vendor qualification and surveillance, as well as managing the procurement and installation of process equipment.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO, CQE, ASQ) is a plus.Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $117,200.00 - $175,800.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms.
