Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform a vital role in contributing to the company's strategic objectives. Each day, you will make a positive impact on business operations by supporting and collaborating with the finance business. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the comprehensive Global Early Talent Program as per the plan.The work model for the role is: Eggelsberg, Upper Austria This role is contributing to the finance team in B&R Austria. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tSupporting the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the defined area as directed.•\tContributing to multiple assignments with clearly defined Key Performance Indicators across various countries to broaden your experience and further develop intercultural skills.•\tDelivering the assigned tasks/projects within the assignment period.•\tParticipating in required formal training programs (e.g., Leadership Challenge Program, specific functional training) to develop personal, functional, and leadership skills.The program is made up of three assignments in different roles.1) One nine-month assignment in your home country as an introduction to the business. 2) One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB’s operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network. 3) One nine-month assignment back to the home country/home business, where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function.During the program we will take the participants on a leadership competency development journey. The last rotation will also be the time where the participants start to look for their final position, to be started after the end of the program.

Qualifications for the role

\tA Master of Science (or equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\tProficiency in using financial software and platforms such as SAP, Excel, and other relevant tools.\tStrong understanding of accounting, controlling, and the ability to apply these concepts in practice.\tEffective collaboration in international teams with a global mindset.\tExcellent communication skills with a strong affinity for teamwork, change management, and strategic thinking.\tFluency in both English and German.\tPrevious internship or early professional experience in the finance sector would be a valuable asset.
