Global Planning and Fulfillment Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for creating an unconstrained demand plan in collaboration with relevant teams. Your tasks will include measuring, reporting, and improving demand planning accuracy, as well as assisting in demand review meetings. You will support the Sales team by providing insights on global demand for specific products and helping to consolidate the worldwide demand plan. Additionally, you will work with the Product Management team to coordinate new product launches, phase-outs, and platform changes, ensuring these are integrated into the demand plan. You will also undertake additional analysis projects as required.The work model for the role is: hybrid, #LIHybridThe role is contributing to the Motion Business Area / Large Motors and Generators division globally. Main stakeholders are sales and factories.You will be mainly accountable for:• Securing Sales' approval on the demand plan for inclusion in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.• Collaborating with Sales, Projects, Finance, Product Management, and internal customers to develop best practices for an 18-24 month rolling forecast. This includes implementing appropriate forecasting techniques, identifying macro-economic factors, reviewing trends, monitoring product family mix shifts, and understanding changes in demand drivers to enhance forecast accuracy.• Reviewing and improving forecast accuracy at both the aggregate and individual product levels by identifying key root causes of forecast errors and implementing initiatives to enhance future forecast accuracy.• Training and coaching the Sales team to continuously improve the demand planning and forecasting process.• Creating detailed reports and dashboards to support business decisions through End to End data transparency.
Qualifications for the rolePrevious experience in a similar role (Supply Chain Management / Demand Planning) is advantageous.Proficiency in analyzing and visualizing data, preferably using business intelligence tools like PowerBI.Ability to identify discrepancies and errors in data, and work with various levels of seniority within the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and data processing platforms such as Celonis, Snowflake, and Alteryx.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.Strong motivational, organizational, and planning skills; goal-oriented, able to work independently, and fluent in English.
