Job Description
The Global Services and Solutions Demand Manager will lead the team and global strategy around the Sales & Operations process for our ETO Businesses of Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Motor Control Centers (2100/2500) across our 8 plants. Team is global, with direct reports of S&OP Leader by business and indirectly with MPS Team and Plants.
Team responsibilities include order plant selection and support product transfers, capacity and material evaluations to set the initial order/project promise date for optimal delivery performance. This position will lead/own the customer communication processes around S&OP coordination between the assigned ETO business units and ISC. As a People Manager, the expectation is that you will use proven leadership and change management skills to drive improvements in business performance related to production planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Supply Forecasting, Capacity Balancing, Delivery Service and Cumulative Lead time for the assigned business units. The S&OP Leader will establish capacity, build and shipment plans in multiple global manufacturing locations. Plants include: Richland Center, Monterrey Plant 2, Tecate Plant 2, Jundiai, Cambridge, Katowice ETO, Harbin, and Shanghai ETO. You will work hybrid from one of our locations. You will report to the Global Planning CoE Manager.
Your Responsibilities:Working with the plant materials/production organization to plan/coordinate the monthly planning review process to establish appropriate capacity levels and create the overall supply plan. Quantify available capacity vs. load at a global BU level and make capacity recommendations.Working with specific customers, business unit leaders, and sales to plan/coordinate the month Demand planning review process to establish appropriate orders forecasting.Coordinating and facilitating Sales, Customers and Operations Process; identifying gaps in Supply and Demand to establish a single consensus forecast.Establish ownership of the unscheduled backlog and coordinate plant assignment. Maintain the plant capability matrix supporting plant assignment in coordination with engineering and plant teams.Lead improvements in flexibility/capability to improve overall loading to maximize plant capacity utilization.Tracking, analyzing and reporting the pertinent performance measures; suggest and implement improvement opportunities.Manage and coordinate the output of the S&OP for the purposes of develop and managing detailed component inventory forecasting; Lead creation of monthly supply forecasts for key suppliers.Maintain and publish order lead timesYou will report to global Ceo ManangerThe Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experienceLegal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.The ability to travel 25% of the time.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:8+ years of progressive experience in Materials, Manufacturing Operations, Purchasing, or other Supply Chain function.Excellent Analytical skillsProven leader implementing and sustaining changeMaster's Degree, MBA or other related advanced degree or certification.APICS Certification CPIM/CSCPSAP Experience Preferred (WM, PP, MM)Modeling/Optimization SkillsExperience in ETO (Engineer to Order) manufacturing environmentCustomer facing interactionsBenefits:
