We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Business Insights team. As a key member of the Data Analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business-critical dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization. Your expertise in data analysis and visualization will enable us to make data-driven decisions, drive process improvements, and optimize operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Collect, extract and analyze complex data sets from various sources (e.g., CRM systems, ERP systems, in-house databases) to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical and end-user documentation.
Dashboard Development: Design and develop intuitive dashboards databases using tools like Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), key leading indicators (KLI), metrics, and data insights for various stakeholders.
Reporting: Develop and maintain regular reports (e.g., monthly, quarterly) that provide actionable insights on business performance, operations, and market trends.
Data Visualization: Create engaging and informative visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, maps) to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop tailored analytics solutions that drive business value.
Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data sources and dashboards by implementing quality control measures and best practices.
Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and one-on-one meetings.
Training: Provide on-the-job training for new team members and to the user community on how to use dashboards.
Support: Provide end-user support (Ad-hoc data extractions, user setup and troubleshooting).
Data Security: Ensure full compliance with corporate data security guidelines.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest data-driven solutions to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.
Metrics: Accountable for monitor usability and internalization of dashboards via KPI’s and surveys.
Agile Project Management: Promote flexibility, Collaboration and iterative progress among the team. Manage scope and expectations, monitoring and reporting progress, risk management and continues improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Analytics) or related field.
3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or Looker.
Experience with programming languages like Python, R, or SQL.
Experience with Snowflake, Atlan and JIRA environments.
Machine learning skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., SFDC), databases, or modern data warehousing tools is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Nice to Have:
Certification in data analytics or business intelligence
Experience working in the Flavors industry or a related field.
Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
