The Global Corporate Banking team manages J.P. Morgan’s relationships with local corporate and also global clients across cash management, trade, FX & rates, commodities, and financing solutions. The team coordinates the coverage strategy with product partners across regions.
As a Corporate Banking Vice President you will cover and develop relationships with clients in Peru and the position will be based in Lima.
Job Responsibilities:
Build and expand Treasurer / CFO / CEO relationships in Peru, focusing on the origination of corporate banking opportunities (e.g. cash management, trade, fx & rates, commodities, financing) Develop active dialogue to further penetrate existing and new potential relationships, educating clients on J.P. Morgan's corporate banking capabilities in Peru Partner with product specialists to identify new business opportunities and collaborate on deal execution Create forward-looking business plans for existing and prospective clients Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with J.P. Morgan's array of corporate banking products Responsible for conversion of client analysis into concrete financial solutions Escalate the needs of clients with local and regional product partners to drive product development ideas Role requires travel domestically and internationally to meet clients and headquarter partners
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
+ 10 years of corporate banking or relevant product coverage experience in top international bank Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in English and Spanish Strong analytical skills, commercial judgment, and influencing abilities Strong interpersonal and client prospecting skills Ability to lead and work in a cross-cultural team environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Corporate banking experience and knowledge of J.P. Morgan culture, objectives and products are a plus
