Global Clinical Distribution Lead

As a Global Clinical Distribution Leader, you will work well in teams, both local and in the global community,  lead without authority, be well organized, process and system-focused, learn quickly, make independent decisions, and be highly accountable. You will effectively communicate with all organizations, leadership, peers, customers, and vendors, prioritize and organize with minimal supervision, and complete all levels of training requirements as outlined in the training program. Additionally, you will think globally and be patient-focused. 

The Opportunity:

You will manage the On-time Delivery Performance for network supply shipments in the distribution network to meet study requirements and patient demand.

You will participate and engage on Protocol Execution Teams (PETs), Global Supply Execution Teams (gSETs), and ad-hoc distribution-related meetings on behalf of the team

You will drive resolution of operational and system matters impacting on-time delivery collaborating with providers internal and external as well as coordinate network depot supply in coordination with Clinical Demand and Supply Leader and other partners as needed.

You will lead and participate in cross-functional and internal distribution-related projects and process improvement initiatives supporting the global distribution  strategy.

You will execute with the highest level of accuracy in the CLARA system and perform 1st and 2nd-level diagnostics. 

You will have a collaborative and agile mentality, actively looking to contribute to global cross-functional teams and develop a self-directed team organization.

Who you are 

You will have a Bachelor's Degree in  Business (Operations Management or Supply Chain Management) preferred

You will have 3 - 5 years experience in Clinical Trial Management, logistics, warehouse management, or other Supply Chain discipline, preferably in the Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical industry

You will be strong SAP / IT systems background and diagnostics ability

You will have an APICS and/or SCOR certification or associated relevant experience

Experience in cross/functional/cross-cultural and agile organizational models and leadership styles is preferred.

Preferred:

Operational Excellence/Six Sigma/Lean training a plus

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $86,200 - $160,200. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
