Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Global Category Lead to oversee the sourcing strategy for electronics components. This leadership role will include end-to-end management of the electronics categories, supplier negotiations, budgeting, and ensuring a sustainable, cost-effective supply chain. The successful candidate will be an expert in procurement, category management, and supplier relationship management, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings while ensuring innovation and quality.

What You’ll Do:

Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of commodity managers, encouraging a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Budget Forecasting & Material P&L: Oversee budget forecasting and material P&L, ensuring alignment with procurement activities.KPI Management: Establish KPIs and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement across the sourcing team.Category Strategy Development: Develop a global sourcing strategy for electronics, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, innovation, and quality improvement.Supplier Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring collaboration and performance excellence.Cost Management & Value Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives through negotiations and process improvements while maintaining high-quality standards.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, engineering, and operations teams to ensure the sourcing strategy aligns with product timelines and company objectives.

Who You Are:

You are a strategic leader with expertise in electronics procurement and global supply chain optimization.You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, global environment and are skilled at balancing cost savings with quality and innovation.You bring 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on electronics components and supplier negotiations.You excel in cross-functional collaboration, mentoring teams, and making data-driven decisions to achieve organizational goals.

Essential Requirements:

10+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management (preferred).Master’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field (preferred).Extensive experience in electronics procurement and category management.Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.Experience in managing suppliers across global markets, particularly in semiconductors, circuit boards, and other critical components.

Location & Work Environment:

This position is eligible for a Hybrid work arrangement, allowing part-time remote work from home and part-time at our company location.Up to 35% travel to Europe and North America may be required.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 USD per year. 

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
