As the Global Buyer Spare Parts you will be responsible, for the management of spare part category, purchase, storage, and distribution of spare parts or components required for machinery, or equipment, for implementing sourcing strategies according to category management strategies and leading sourcing activities across all business units at global level.

Main responsibilities:

Develop & Implement Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and input. Leverage integrators & OEM’s globally and provide solutions & alternatives for Spare parts process improvement including integrators & OEM’s managementMaintain knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry benchmarks and stays informed on current industry trends and new market developmentsDevelop & implement Digital Solutions and VMI Programs: Implementing digital solutions (such as PunchOut catalogues) and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs streamline procurement processes and improve expenditure managementCommunicate departmental vision & goals and act as a change agent, bring outside innovation and leverage global footprintEnsures the implementation and operational follow-up of action plans derived from the strategies, in close collaboration with the procurement network and stakeholdersProvides support to the Global Lead Buyer of the category to ensure the execution of the strategy and sourcing execution, delivers savings pipeline in line with targets and reports on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities for maintenance category and leads global RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for maintenance categoryRun robust Supplier Management with business reviews & performance management Ensure mastery of Procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality…)

About you

Experience:

4+ years' experience in Procurement Spare parts experience in pharma industry or retail/fast moving goods company

Soft skills:

Technical knowledge of Spare Parts Management, reverse engineering, Additive manufacturing & Lathing/milling/coating technologiesGood understanding of inventory management and FIFO practices.Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, notably on large data setsKnowledge of SAP MM module and any CMMS toolProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointTrained into crisis managementKnowledge of Pharma GMP work environmentProven experience into remote maintenance contract deployment and machinery connectivity and censoringGood understanding of finance and legal aspectsFlexible, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results orientedProven project managementTechnical and commercial NegotiationCommunication skills: Assertiveness, ability to convince/influence others and excellent presentation skillsAble to quickly assimilate new information/skills  Readily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of workingTeam player with excellent interpersonal sensitivityRole model in compliance and ethics 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or another relevant field

Languages:

Excellent command of both written and spoken English required
