We are seeking an experienced global events manager to lead global event planning and execution from start to finish. Reporting into the Global Marketing team, The Global Events Manager will be responsible for leading Hach’s global internal Commercial Kickoff, President’s Club, and associate supported community outreach events. This position is responsible for the development, planning, budget management, and implementation of internal and external meetings, events, and will support trade shows and other events needs as assigned, aligned with strategic business and brand objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Create and manage budgets (up to $1M+) for Hach and lead project management for the events
+ Manage Event Core Team on a regular cadence for events including strategy direction, decision making, guidance, problem solving related to Culture & Content, Marketing & Branding, Exhibitor Relations, Satellites, Logistics & Operations, Project Coordination, and Sponsorship
+ Work with global cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, sales and internal teams to ensure that event messaging, deliverables, post event analysis, and tactics are implemented according to strategy
+ Oversee and administer contracts for Sponsors, Exhibitions, 3rd Party Vendors working closely with the Legal, Strategic Sourcing, and Finance Teams
+ Oversee the plan of action for Logistics and Operations
+ Resolve all immediate issues occurring during the event
+ Main liaison between divisions related to Finance, Legal, Development, Global Marketing, Community Relations and Events teams
+ Manage RFP process to ensure vendor opportunities are open to entire membership base
+ Conduct and review event surveys to ensure satisfaction and continually evaluate event performance and metrics to convert them into actionable improvements to the overall event program
+ Research event trends and competitor events to find new, unique ideas that can be applied to events
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ 5+ years directly related event management experience in internal and external, corporate event planning; B2B experience, preferred.
+ Experience with planning and realizing large and small high-profile events
+ 5 years’ experience writing promotional copy, managing events, planning, and executing campaigns and providing content for social media, blogs, emails and websites
+ Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time; both domestic and international travel is required. Willingness to travel and work occasional nights and weekends to support in-person or virtual events; ability to be comfortable working in various time zones if working remotely.
+ 3+ years developing and managing comprehensive event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
**It would be a plus if you also possess the following:**
+ Experience with SFDC and CRM systems, preferably within Marketo.
+ Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification, preferred

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
