What You'll DoThe Global Benefits Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing BCG’s employee benefits programs across the EMESA region, which includes Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa. This position will ensure that benefits design and implementation align with the region’s business and talent strategies. Focusing on healthcare, life, income protection, business travel and accident insurance, this role requires a deep understanding of technical insurance processes, including contract review and future-focused plan design.   The successful candidate will drive a digital-first approach to benefits management by advocating for MyBenefits as the central hub for benefits engagement and streamlined administration of our health and wellbeing offerings. Reporting to the Global Benefits Insurance Director, this role will contribute to strategic initiatives and support the Global Benefits Centre of Expertise (COE) Leadership Team in delivering innovative, forward-thinking benefits solutions.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Strategic and Technical Leadership Evaluate and refine employee benefits insurance plans (e.g., Healthcare, Life, Disability, Business Travel Accident, Accidental Death & Dismemberment), ensuring they are future ready, cost-efficient, and aligned with BCG’s regional business and talent objectives. Collaborate with the Global Benefits Insurance Director to review insurance contracts and premium calculations, ensuring compliance and alignment with long-term organisational goals. Lead initiatives to maximise plan value while balancing costs, managing risks, and prioritising employee wellbeing.  Stakeholder Collaboration and Advisory Serve as a trusted advisor to regional and local HR and Finance teams, guiding technical and operational aspects of benefits programs. Collaborate with brokers and vendors to negotiate terms, manage renewals, and uphold BCG’s high standards. Work closely with the Global Benefits COE Leadership Team to provide strategic insights and support regional leadership on benefits priorities.  Leveraging the MyBenefits Platform Champion the MyBenefits platform as the focal point for benefits engagement, enhancing employees’ understanding of offerings while reinforcing BCG’s Employee Value Proposition. Collaborate with regional and local teams to optimise platform usage, driving operational efficiencies and streamlining benefits administration.  Data-driven Insights and Innovations Leverage insured claims data and ICD coding to inform a proactive approach to health and wellbeing, providing insights that drive cost management, mitigate risks, and enhance employee outcomes. Analyse complex datasets related to healthcare, life assurance, and income protection programs to identify trends and opportunities. Using the Wellbeing@BCG framework, deliver actionable recommendations. Support insurance renewals by analysing claims data and leveraging experience to ensure vendor recommendations (e.g., from brokers and insurers) are complete and appropriate and offer optimal value for the organisation.  Process Optimization and Compliance Identify and collaborate across teams to implement process improvements to streamline regional benefits administration. Ensure all programs comply with global governance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining competitiveness.  SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Technical & Functional Expertise - Extensive knowledge of group healthcare, life assurance, disability, and related benefits programs (including BTA, Short-Term Disability [STD], and AD&D) and the insurance markets that support these offerings. Proven expertise in plan design, policy wording, contract negotiation, and vendor management across benefits programs in the EMESA region.  Problem Solving & Insight- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate insurance contracts, leverage insured claims data and ICD coding, and develop actionable insights that enhance benefits offerings.  Effectiveness & Value Creation - Strong ability to prioritise and deliver high-quality outcomes that balance cost-efficiency with employee value.  Communication, Presence & Influence - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders and drive alignment.  Teaming & Collaboration - Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across cross-functional teams, foster consensus, and effectively manage expectations.  Role Model - A commitment to BCG’s values of integrity, inclusivity, and innovation while driving impactful benefits strategies.  People Development - Support and mentor local HR teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement in benefits expertise. 

What You'll Bring7+ years of experience in regional benefits management, global broking or international benefits consulting, ideally within a matrixed organisation. Proven expertise in healthcare, life assurance, disability, and AD&D programs. Strong experience analysing claims data and leveraging ICD coding to generate insights that drive strategic health and wellbeing initiatives, focusing on cost management, risk reduction, and employee outcomes. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong numerical and presentation skills. Experience working with global benefits platforms and technologies. Foreign language proficiency relevant to the EMESA region is a plus. 

Who You'll Work WithAs a key member of the Global Benefits Centre of Expertise, you will collaborate with: Global, regional, and local HR teams to ensure alignment on strategy and implementation. External brokers and vendors to negotiate terms and manage relationships. The Global Benefits COE Leadership Team on strategic initiatives and projects.
