Global Associate Procurement Manager

At Ecolab we are hiring a Global Associate Procurement Manager to join our Procuremente team in Barcelona, Spain! In this role you will be responsible for delivering business results, development, and execution of global strategies, ensuring continuity of supply, and minimizing total cost of ownership, all of which are required to meet the business needs.

What You Will Do:

Working in a multicultural environment and collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds and able to operate effectively across multiple time zones.Linking knowledge of current market trends with supplier portfolios to identify opportunities for marketplace advantages, and generate innovative ideas for gaining a competitive advantageDevelop and implement global strategies to drive cost savings project and initiativesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal pricing and quality to create value for the organizationSupport global strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement in category performance.Collaborate with regional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and execution of projects and drive positive impact against key business priorities.Engaging with the R&D and Procurement Business Partner teams to drive portfolio optimization and consolidationEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines relating to the chemical categoryEnsuring security of supply by driving sole source breaks and contingency plansMin 25% travel requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree7 years of purchasing experience, preferably in raw material or direct purchasing with strong commercial background and proven international working experience.Immigration sponsorship not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or related fieldDemonstrated history of teamwork, and project management skillsDemonstrated professionalism and strong presence in interactions with others
