Description and RequirementsThe Global Account Manager will be responsible for driving worldwide revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction for Lenovo’s largest and most strategic Global accounts. This individual will be managing and maintaining account relationships through senior level engagements for Lenovo’s entire solution portfolio. They will also develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for leading effective IT deployments. The Global Account Manager will also be engaged with extended teams in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), product transition plans, and resource planning.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Acquire new business within Global Smart Retail VerticalProactive solutions selling while delivering on aggressive sales targetsDeliver excellent CXExecute the overall go to market strategy, providing thought leadership and managing relationships with key executivesUtilize a structured and repeatable business process to enable strategic and accurate pipeline managementCollaborate across Lenovo's fast paced and highly matrixed organizationIndirectly manage other sales and support professionals globallyBasic Requirements:
7+ years proven track record in strategic selling to Large Enterprise or Global AccountsMust be located in the Oregan or Washington and have area and ability to travel to all customer meetings up to 50% when appropriate.Preferred Requirements:
Server & PC industry experiencePossesses C-level executive relationships within an accountExcellent interpersonal and communications skillsAbility to manage multiple complex sales engagementsCuriosity about the changing technology industryStrong financial, operational and business development acumen*** This position is Portland, Oregan or Seattle, Washington territory-based candidate must reside in or around territory.
