Apollo Glass & Mirror is seeking a residential glazier installer to join their team! 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Set glass windows/doors into frames and bolt metal hinges, locks, handles, and other hardware to attach doors to frames and walls using a level Install pre-assembled wood or metal frameworks for doors and windows before glass panel installation using hand tools Read and understand blueprints and specifications to know necessary work details, including color, shape, size, type, and thickness of glass to be installed, framing location, procedures for installation, and any scaffolding or other staging items needed before beginning work Drive trucks to work locations unload tools and equipment, and use suction cups or cranes to lift out glass panels Pack loose areas between glass panels and molding or frames with glazing compound, and trim excess material with a glazing knife Lift, hold, and secure glass panels and mirrors into position with putty, cement, screws, or bolts

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1 -2 years of work experience related construction field, preferred High School diploma or GED Maintain a valid driver's license Experience in the construction industry a plus Knowledge of all OSHA construction job site requirements Knowledgeable of all OSHA standards and requirements as related to our industry OSHA 10 certified; OSHA 30 preferred

 

Physical Demands:

this role requires Heavy lifting, frequent standing, bending, reaching, climbing, working at heights, using hand tools, driving, unloading equipment, and handling glass with precision.
