The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial data handling and processing, proficiency in working with large volumes of data, and a deep understanding of various types of geospatial data, and strong data handling and processing knowledge in general. You will be responsible for processing and automating data workflows using advanced technologies and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:Collecting, processing, and analyzing geospatial data, including weather-related data (flood, wind, hail, tornado/hurricane), property location dataManaging and integrating diverse datasets from varied sources such as census data, weather and property dataDesigning and implementing data processing workflows to ensure efficient data handlingAutomating data processing workflows using tools and scripting languages; Python, Pentaho Data IntegrationUtilizing open-source software such as QGIS for geospatial analysisManaging geospatial databases using PostgreSQL or equivalent RDBMSWorking with cloud technologies like AWS and Azure for data storage, processing, and analyticsDeveloping and maintaining documentation for data processes and workflowsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to support data needs and analytic projectsEnsuring data quality and integrity through rigorous validation and cleansing processes
