GIS Analyst III
Job Description Team Support and Leadership:  Serve as a critical partner to the Team Lead, providing essential support to Mappers and QA/QC teams.  Act as the teams go-to resource, readily available to answer questions from both Mappers and QA personnel through chat or calls. Flexibility and Prioritization:  Adapt to shifting priorities throughout the day and pivot tasks as needed to focus on high-priority items.  Strategically manage time to maintain productivity, dedicating focus periods to core responsibilities like Mapping, QA, 1-on-1s, documentation, and training. One-on-One Team Development:  Conduct weekly 1-hour 1-on-1 sessions with each Mapper to discuss challenges, workshop projects, and provide mentorship.  Foster a collaborative environment by encouraging open communication and knowledge-sharing. Quality Assurance and Mapping Expertise:  Assist with QA tasks, aiming to review at least five cases daily to uphold high-quality standards.  Stay engaged with Mapping tasks for 1-2 hours weekly to stay familiar with the process and support the team as needed. Documentation and Process Improvement:  Develop documentation on recurring issues or process improvements, dedicating 4-5 hours weekly to refine workflows and enhance team performance. Strategic Planning and Reflection:  Prioritize strategic thinking with dedicated weekly planning sessions, ensuring effective workload management and preparation for evolving challenges. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field  3+ years of GIS data management experience, specializing in Smallworld GIS software.  Strong proficiency in Smallworld Core Spatial Technology (CST) and associated modules, including PNI, Schematics, and Design Manager.  Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing quality control procedures for Smallworld GIS data.  Solid understanding of GIS data modeling, topology, and spatial analysis concepts.  Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
