**Job Description Summary** The Planning Manager is responsible for leading the planning function and supervising assigned employees. Ensure master schedule and line-item schedule meet the customer requirements. Monitoring and manage changes as needed in the facility capacity planning tools. Support transfers teams. Responsible for site backorders and actively manage resolution of root cause. Responsible for understanding GMP regulations as it relates to the planning department and ensures all planning work is performed according to procedures. Required profile Education:College graduate with a bachelor’s degree Knowledge & Training •5-10 years of experience in supply chain management or materials management. • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams. • Experience with budgeting process • ERP systems, forecasting tools and techniques for a high-volume manufacturing facility. • Preferred certifications in APICs; CPIM or CSCP • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish • Dynamic, positive attitude with good interpersonal and organizational skills • Ability to coach, mentor, lead others. • Proficient in time management. • Strong analytical skills. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects. • Project Management skills. • Ability to manage and drive change and continuous improvement.
