The Role
As part of the International Compliance team, you will oversee WTW’s compliance in Brazil through:
Overseeing, managing, and developing the overall compliance program, as it applies to Brazil; Identifying and assessing compliance and regulatory risks in all WTW segments and functions; Identifying and leading the response to regulatory developments; Creating and delivering the annual risk-based Compliance Plan for Brazil, reflecting individual country and legal entity plans, where required; Providing oversight and challenge of business management’s assessment of governance and regulatory risk. Providing guidance and advice on business conduct and ethical standards, including the Code of Conduct, driving appropriate ‘tone from the top’; Investigating suspected, alleged, or actual breaches of regulatory requirements or WTW Compliance policies and procedures and ensuring that any established breach is appropriately resolved; Providing technical regulatory advice and supporting key stakeholders to understand their responsibilities and obligations under WTW policies and regulatory requirements; Monitoring business activities in line with the annual Compliance Plan and on an ad-hoc basis; Escalating material issues, incidents, and breaches to Compliance leadership, business stakeholders, and other functions (e.g., Legal and Risk) as appropriate; Maintaining effective relationships with regulators and key stakeholders in the business.The Requirements
Based in Brazil;Strong regulatory and corporate governance knowledge/understanding required;Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels to promote an effective and business-focused compliance culture;Commercial awareness – a commercial and pragmatic approach to managing compliance risks;Ability to work under pressure to tight timelines and without direct supervision;Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining an excellent understanding of regulatory developments.Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and self-sufficient;Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment managing multiple deliverables;5+ years of proven professional experience in compliance and/or corporate risk management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.The Application Process
