Geotechnical Engineer
Job Description

Seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with water resources experience. The ideal candidate will have experience within large infrastructure projects like dams, levees, locks, reservoirs, etc. Primarily responsible for subsurface investigations, inspection reports, soil borings, and engineering analysis/recommendations. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) license, with the ability to lead/mentor the geotechnical group. Will also consider candidates with 5+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.

ResponsibilitiesPerform water resources engineering analysis and recommendations (geotechnical focused) for dams, levees, locks, and similar infrastructure.Perform and direct others with geotechnical inspection reports, site reconnaissance, soil borings, and field investigations.Direct and mentor junior level engineers with preparation of engineering analyses and recommendations.Interact with clients and perform marketing activities on an as-needed basis.Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the company Health and Safety plan.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical or related discipline10+ years relevant geotechnical engineering experience (will also consider candidates with 5+ years experience)Water resources related construction experience a plusExperience with ODOT projects and/or US Army Corps of Engineer's a plusRecruiter: Eisen Hardy - 'ehardy@actalentservices.com'Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
