**Geomechanics Engineer** **Key** **Responsibilities:** **Data Audit & Gap Analysis:** Assess existing datasets and identify critical data gaps. **Geomechanical Property Modelling:** Develop rock mechanical property models, pore pressure models, and compute stress magnitudes/orientations. **Wellbore Stability & Drilling Optimization:** Perform wellbore stability analysis, recommend safe mud weights, optimize casing seats, and evaluate drilling risks (e.g., wellbore collapse, lost circulation, differential sticking). Conduct trajectory sensitivity and fault stability analysis. **Completion & Sand Management:** Assess well integrity and perform sand production management to prevent sanding risks. **Post-Drill & Advanced Modelling:** Conduct post-drill wellbore stability analysis, integrate core test results, and develop/update 3D/4D Geomechanical models for drilling and hydraulic fracturing applications. **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geosciences, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field. **Experience:** Minimum **5+ years** in geomechanics, drilling optimization, or wellbore stability. **Technical Skills:** Expertise in **Techlog, Petrel, Visage** , or similar geomechanics software will be preferred. **Analytical Skills:** Strong understanding of **rock mechanics, stress modelling, and wellbore stability** . **Problem-Solving:** Ability to identify and mitigate drilling/completion challenges. **Collaboration:** Experience working with **drillers, reservoir engineers, and completion engineers** in multidisciplinary teams Company policy is to provide every individual a fair and equal opportunity to seek employment and advancement at the Company without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, citizenship, genetic information, veteran or military status, disability, creed, ancestry, pregnancy (including pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions), marital status or any factors protected by federal, state, or local laws.
