JMT’s Survey/Geomatics department offers an exciting work environment that leverages modern technology (terrestrial/mobile/aerial LiDAR, Drones, robotics, bathymetry, etc.) balanced with sound traditional survey procedures to deliver projects.
Position Summary: Responsible for completing the data processing phase of specific field survey projects, deed research, boundary computations, plat drafting and other related tasks. U.S. Residency Required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Knowledge of geomatics, surveying, and or reality capture Proficient with survey computations Experience with Carlson Survey and/or Open Roads Designer Performs office computations necessary for completing task assignments, including QA/QC. Develop topographic base mapping (field to Finish Processing) through conventional survey and/or LiDAR Analyzes raw data for mathematical closure and geometric accuracy
