Do you want to help define the future of Go to Market (GTM) of Machine Learning and Generative AI (GenAI) at AWS? Would you like to join one of the fastest-growing organizations focused on some of the most exciting technological innovations customers are building? The AWS APJ team is looking for an experienced technical business leader to drive the GTM for the next evolution of Generative AI model building and training customers across APJ.

As the Technical BDM, you will be responsible for leading the GTM strategy for customers building the next generation LLMs. This role will work in conjunction with AWS Service Teams, Regional Solution Architecture teams, Worldwide Machine Learning Frameworks team, Regional Leadership and APJ Specialist teams. You will be working directly with customers (across segments) in the GenAI model training and inference space helping them build, train and scale their own Large Language Models (LLMs) on AWS. Activities will include, model performance evaluations, develop proof-of-concepts, developing GTM plans, and external/internal evangelism.

You will possess a technical and business background that enables you to drive an engagement and interact at the highest levels with start-ups, Enterprises, and AWS partners. You will have the technical depth and business experience to easily articulate the potential and challenges of GenAI models and applications to engineering teams and C-Level executives. This requires deep familiarity across the stack – compute infrastructure (Amazon EC2, Amazon EKA), ML frameworks PyTorch, JAX, orchestration layers Kubernetes and Slurm, parallel computing (NCCL, MPI), MLOPs, through to Amazon SageMaker Hyperpod, Amazon Bedrock as well as target use cases in the cloud.

This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of technological transformations, as a key technical leader. Additionally, you will work with the AWS Generative AI and EC2 product teams to shape product vision and prioritize features for ML Frameworks and applications.
