COMPENSATION
Salary Range: (Min) $113,172 – (Max) $160,206 / Grade B
Compression: $162,080
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position Is responsible for the oversight of maintenance planning and track access for Maintenance of Way. Ensuring minimal service disruption, applies asset management and systems engineering standards to the planning and implementation of all maintenance and capital work along the right-of-way. Acts as liaison with senior field management in concert with maintenance/capital work. Formulates plans for defect elimination, routine inspection and routine maintenance. Manages defect data flows from a variety of systems into the maintenance planning process. Oversees the development of sound maintenance planning processes based on Industry best practices. Keeps abreast of DOS asset management and systems engineering initiatives as they pertain to Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma required; Baccalaureate preferred in Civil Engineering, Transportation Management, Public Administration or a satisfactory equivalent.
8 years of total experiences; 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
DESIRED SKILLS:
+ Strong knowledge of Subways and MOW rules, train routes, regulations, policies and procedures.
+ Entry-level field experience in one of the MOW subdivisions is critical.
+ Experience with multi-discipline maintenance planning, defect reporting. defect mitigation scopes of work, along with job planning under outages and under traffic is required .
+ Familiarity with basic asset management techniques .
+ Excellent project management skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Experience with in-house project management software
