**Mixing Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Chemical Operator to join our team in a heavy industrial environment. This role involves a variety of tasks such as handling materials, operating machinery, and ensuring a clean and safe workspace. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with physical labor and committed to following safety protocols. **Responsibilities** + Packing bags of starch. + Climbing stairs and emptying 50 lb bags of starch into mixers. + Regularly sweeping and cleaning the work area. + Opening valves on tanks. + Operating basic touch screen controls on machines. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. + Comfortable with 12-hour rotating shifts (4 days on, 3 days off). + Understanding and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Adherence to safety protocols. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Self-driven and hardworking attitude. + Proactive in looking for additional tasks. + Basic understanding of manufacturing principles. + Experience in machine operation. **Why Work Here?** We offer above-average pay, a great family environment, and a safe workplace. The job is deadline-intensive and requires a focus on quality. The hours are 12-hour rotating night and day shifts, 4 days on and 3 days off each week. The dress code includes work pants and shirts, with provided hard hats and glasses. Steel-toed boots are required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, South Carolina.Mixing **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.75 - $23.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
