DuPont’s Ft. Madison, IA site is currently hiring Full Service General Operators - Ink Technician.
Shift Details:
This position works a 12-hour shift; two weeks on days, two weeks on nights. 8 hours of scheduled overtime every 2 weeks and some voluntary and forced overtime. Employees average 200 hours of overtime per year, less senior employees may be required to work overtime when there are no volunteers.
Your key responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Material handling: includes taking samples, weighing and loading materials, packaging materials.
Operation of production equipment and monitoring status of the production processes, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Testing and documenting product specifications and calculating adjustments through use of various spreadsheets to meet customer specifications.
Lifting and moving of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read, follow and execute all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining all necessary shift paperwork including written and electronic records
Maintain a clean workspace and environment
100% adherence to all safety practices and quality assurance systems
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States; Visa sponsorship/support or relocation assistance are not available for this position.
Your qualification profile:
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Willing and able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Willing and able to lift 50 lbs.
Willing and able to work on a 12-hour rotating schedule
Willing and able to work overtime to meet business needs
Basic computer knowledge
The following skill sets are preferred:
Prior manufacturing experience
Prior experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks, or like equipment
Associates Degree or higher
Experience using SAP
Technical and/or Mechanical background
