Lead and Develop Teams: Recruit, train, coach, and provide performance feedback to direct reports to drive team productivity, engagement, and operational excellence.
Drive Performance Goals: Achieve key company targets and metrics including internal and external KPIs such as Labor-to-Revenue (LTR), truck turn times, and customer service benchmarks.
Optimize Warehouse Operations: Analyze and improve warehouse processes and costs to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Support Sales Growth: Partner with the Sales Manager to drive business development—contribute to strategic account planning, lead generation, rate quoting, contract negotiations, and closing sales.
Enhance Customer Experience: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring all sites deliver exceptional customer service and responsiveness.
Manage Budgets and Resources: Oversee site budgets, capital expenditures, equipment, and space utilization to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
Ensure Compliance and Safety: Champion initiatives to meet or exceed safety, quality, and food handling standards in line with Lineage’s operational excellence goals.
Additional Responsibilities:Support cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Collaborate on the development and deployment of SOPs, policies, and best practices across facilities.
Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in Operations Management within the Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
Strategic Execution: Proven ability to drive strategic plans, manage budgets, and lead operational performance improvements.
Process Improvement: Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, LEAN).
Leadership: Skilled in managing and developing high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort with ambiguity.
Additional Requirements:Work Environment: Must be able to work in cold storage (as low as -20°F/-25°C) and dry storage (up to 100°F/37°C) environments while wearing company-provided PPE.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg); heavier lifting may be required depending on location.
Noise Tolerance: Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels.
