Blue Rhino is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team in driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This individual will be responsible for inspiring both on-site and remote teams, managing operations, and capturing market share through strategic planning, customer relationship management, and performance optimization. As a key leader in the organization, the General Manager will leverage business insights and financial acumen to guide day-to-day operations and support long-term growth.

Responsibilities Team Leadership & Performance Optimization:
Inspire and lead both on-site and remote teams to embrace new opportunities, increase market share, and defend the existing customer base. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with company objectives, values, and KPIs.Operational Execution:
Accountable for executing business strategies and ensuring adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs), operational standards, and performance measurement systems. Manage and optimize day-to-day operations to meet business goals and maximize efficiency.Financial Acumen & Reporting:
Understand, analyze, and leverage P&L statements and other business reports to make informed decisions and optimize financial performance. Develop strategies to achieve budgeted goals and improve profitability.Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key local customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Engage with high-impact accounts to ensure their needs are met and exceed expectations.Service Delivery & Route Optimization:
Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute cost-effective delivery and service routes that address customer needs while driving operational efficiency and cost savings.Strategic Planning & Opportunity Anticipation:
Anticipate future business opportunities, customer demands, and market trends, and incorporate these insights into the company’s annual business plan. Ensure the business remains agile and responsive to market changes.Coaching & Development:
Apply evidence-based management principles to coach and mentor team members, driving continuous improvement in key performance metrics. Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and professional development. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in operations, business management or related field or equivalent experience.6+ years of experience in an operations leadership role.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.Proven history of ethical business decision and integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels and outside constituents. Detail oriented with the ability to take projects/tasks through to completion.Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task.Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environment.Demonstrated persistence to overcome obstacles and challenges with the ability to set and achieve challenging goals.Demonstrated skills in data analysis, strategic planning, measurements, and fiscal responsibility.Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Work Environment:

This is a hands-on position, reporting to the Salt Lake City or Denver Service Center location daily. However, travel between district locations is required as needed.The role may involve extended hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on peak season and customer needs.
