A great mining company in Middelburg, Mpumalanga is seeking the expertise of a General Manager to join their team of professionals. 

Responsibilities

Heading up of the underground mining division Extensive experience in contracting to blue chip clients Manage mining contracts profitably Meet planned/budgeted margins Effectively manage underground mining contract(s) Meet production profiles Manage and maintain stable client relationships  Professional promotion of the company brand Actively promoting the company core values and guidelines for success Actively supporting strategic objectives Budget Control Accountability for Performance Management Accountability for Safety management

Requirements

Grade 12 Degree in Mining Engineering Mine Managers Certificate of Competency Blasting Certificate for Underground Scheduled Mines 15 – 20 years’ experience in an underground mining environment Minimum 10 years at senior management level

Benefits 

Salary: R1.8M/yr – R2M/yr negotiable Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience Paid Time Off
