In this lead management role, the General Manager will be responsiblefor the overall management, coordination and direction of our Residential and Retail Dining, and Catering while supporting construction project leading to a State Of the Art kitchen and dining hall! **What You'll Do**
Reporting to the District Manager, the GM will:
+ **Collaborate with key stakeholders, Client, Project management teams throughout construction project and provide updates to campus stakeholders and Sodexo leadership;**
+ **Be actively engaged in the campus culture,** having a presence on campus;
+ Develop, mentor and train employees - creating a positive work environment;
+ Achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
+ Develop strategic plans; and
+ Ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

**What You Bring**
**The ideal candidate has:**
+ **4-5 years as General Manager / Food Service Director in a high volume dining operation - prefer University Dining, contract management, or large scale Catering/Event management.**
+ Work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous food service management experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
+ Proven track record managing through a large project, ability to pivot to provide solutions;
+ **Highly effective organizational skills - attention to detail and follow up/follow through** ;
+ Solid communication skills, leadership and management skills; and
+ Well developed client relationship skills and financial acumen.
