The Supply Room G2 receives and issues maintenance inventory items; reconcile supply room inventory; update inventory in the tracking system; participate in cycle counting and yearly inventory following procedure. The Supply Room G2 will perform tasks to maintain the MRO inventory. You will report to the Maintenance Manager. You will work on site at the Council Bluffs location. Starting rate $23.87, attendance incentive $0.70 per hour.
Job Tasks:
· Follow written procedures to insure proper inventory and finance documentation is performed to back up all transactions.
· Monitors the delivery of purchased goods and services
· Reviews open orders for items that may need closing
· Ensures parts are recorded to work order when handed out of Supply Room
· Analyzes and evaluates information to choose the best solution or address issues
· Assists with review and revisions of current operating procedures
· Assist with strategic sourcing / purchasing needs
· Examine incoming stock for discrepancies/damage and work with vendors to resolve
· Conducts monthly cycle counts of supply room inventory
· Participates in yearly inventory counts
· Process required daily paperwork promptly/Check work for accuracy.
· Implement Lean Manufacturing Techniques within Parts Room
· Work with salaried and hourly personnel in Production, Inventory Control, purchasing, shipping / receiving / traffic and MRO to support the business
· Develop new supply sources
· Maintain compliance with all corporate and plant policies
· Help manage planned kitted work orders.
Skills Required:
· Knowledge of Plant safety, GMP’s
· Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
· Ability to be LOTO/PIT certified
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Qualifications:
· Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
· Regular attendance to ensure production requirements are met
· Computer knowledge including ability to input information into the inventory management system.
· Intermediate math skills
· Lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
· Basic understanding of tools, equipment parts and components
· Knowledge of GMP’s and safety standards
· Education: High school diploma or GED.
