We are looking to hire General Ledger and Fixed Assets Accountant to join our Shared Services team in Monterrey NL: 

General ledger accountants manage and reconcile the financial accounts of a company. They review financial data, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, they offer assistance to other departments within the accounting and finance areas.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for GL & FA activities Create, Calculate and Post journal entries GL and FA accounts reconciliation Inter-company account balancing GL & Fa Accounts analysis FA Depreciation Calculations CIP Reconciliation FA Capitalization process Month end closings and trial balance submissions to headquarters Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages GL and FA additional projects as required Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of operating unit and headquarters personnel.  Ensure all policies & procedures are updated & documented as necessary and encouraging excellent customer service to ZF operating units and corporate finance.

 

Your profile as a General ledger and Fixed Assets Accountant:       

Accounting or Finance Degree The ideal candidate with 2-4 years GL and FA experience. 80-90% Bilingual English/Spanish Strong analytical and problem solving High attention to detail A proactive approach with a dedication to teamwork Outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement are essential. Very Good computer skills using MS Office. Knowledge in SAP/QAD systems will be a plus. MX and US GAAP knowledge. Strong Experience in Internal Controls The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards
