General Ledger Accounting Manager
Job Title: General Ledger Accounting Manager Job Description The General Ledger Accounting Manager will manage a team of accountants and sr accountants. This role supports the sector reporting function, including the consolidation of the balance sheet on a quarterly basis and documentation of fluctuations to ensure relevant risks and opportunities are appropriately communicated. Responsibilities include reviewing account reconciliations for completeness and accuracy in accordance with US GAAP, assessing technical accounting positions and drafting position papers as necessary, and preparing and reviewing quarterly financial reporting. The role also involves coordinating audits with outside audit firms and internal operators to ensure timely submission, reviewing balance sheet fluctuations, monitoring and advising on the control environment within the business, and performing ad hoc projects as requested by organizational leadership. Additionally, the General Ledger Accounting Manager will assess current accounting operations and resource capacity, offering recommendations for improvements and implementing new processes where appropriate.
