Join us. **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d) to join our finance team in Frankfurt, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. + Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data + Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation + Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders + Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures + Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial processes + Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and German accounting standards + Participate in audit preparations and respond to auditor inquiries + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting **Qualifications** **Education & Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required **Required Experience** + Minimum of 6 years’ experience in similar role, preferably in a multinational environment + Excellent written and spoken English and Germany is essential + Excellent Microsoft Office Excel Skills + Ability to work to tight deadlines in an accurate manner + Excellent numeracy skills + Ability to work as part of a wider team and with remote teams + Excellent analytical organisational, communication and interpersonal skills **Desired Experience** + Experience with Oracle is preferred + Practical experience of US group audit or a US reporting environment **Additional Information** We offer you an exciting role in an international company with a flat hierarchy and a pleasant working atmosphere.
