GENERAL CLERK II (DA) 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

INTRODUCTION

This position is set aside for people with a disability according to the Ability One guidelines. Documented proof of disability is required before the interview. This position is located in Washington, DC The core working hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.  Starting pay is  $19.12 per hour.  Pre-employment criminal background checks, government security clearance checks (as needed per the contract), and drug testing are required for this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide courteous, fast, and efficient service in all phases of your duties Address mail with address labels and barcode labels Assemble grants as required Quality check grants as required Maintain logbooks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to stand/walk 80% of the time Must be able to lift, carry, push and or pull 50 lbs Must be able to see, read and see Must be able to communicate through written, oral, or ASL All of these requirements are necessary to accomplish all essential functions within this job description properly. Must be able to work independently and follow directions with little supervision
