Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician

As a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent), you’ll work at our local Best Buy store to provide technology support and repair customers’ computers and other devices. You’ll provide excellent customer experiences by listening to their needs and partnering with other Geek Squad Agents. You’ll perform repairs by troubleshooting and following our procedures. If you’re passionate about technology and ready to leverage your technical abilities to help customers get the most out of their tech, this might be the perfect role for you.
What you’ll doPerform diagnostic discoveries, make recommendations, repair devices and help customers both in-person and over the phoneEstablish and maintain consistent rhythms for timely follow-up and ensure expectations are met or exceededPartner with other team members to maintain consistent and accurate documentation of customer requests and repairsEnsure all repair tasks are completed in a timely manner and partner with leaders when issues ariseMaintain knowledge, skillsets and certifications through training coursesBasic qualifications6 months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting or repairing technology productsExperience actively using and learning about consumer electronicsAbility to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekendsPreferred qualificationsStrong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentWhat’s in it for you
