GBVIMS Manager
Purpose of the RoleThe Women’s Protection and Empowerment (WPE) GBVIMS Manager will primarily be responsible for offering technical capacity building the Senior Officer and ensuring GBV and other protection data is accurately and ethically collected, stored, analyzed & shared in strict adherence to the GBVIMS Guidelines and relevant case management standards. She will greatly contribute to all monitoring, evaluation and reporting aspects of the IRC protection activities program to inform better program interventions. The role will work closely with the Senior Officer and GBVIMS Senior manager to rollout GBVIMS+. 

 

Highlights of Key Responsibilities

Designing, Planning & Implementation of Strategies for Data Collection & Storage, Analysis & Sharing:

Adhere to and dedicatedly promote the women, girl and survivor-centered support approach, and the GBV guiding principles.Manage the Gender Based Violence Information Management System (GBVIMS) by ensuring accurate data entry into the incident recorder, clean up, storage and system maintenance including troubleshootingTrain & offer needed support to GBV staff to correctly & effectively use GBVIMS tools (GBV Classification tool, consent form, intake form, incident recorder & ISP).Strengthen and maintain networks with other Protection partners by attending GBV and GBVIMS working group meetings to help analyze GBV trends, findings, and standard methodologies.Ensure all GBV data (GBV survivor’s data, NFI distribution data, persons reached in various activities) is AGD (Age, Gender and Diversity) disaggregated and safely stored.Conduct data analysis and provide inputs, information and statistics for monthly, quarterly, annual and other reports to the Sr. Technical Manager-GBVIMS.Hold regular field supervision visits, offer mentorship sessions and monitor project progressEnsure clients information is securely collected, stored and only shared on the need-to-know basis.Assist in the planning and implementation of GBVIMS+ trainings for staff.Assist in the planning and implementation of GBVIMS+ on behalf of the program.Identify and respond to case management needs and technical issues as identified during the provision of GBVIMS-related technical support.Work closely with Technical Senior Officer -case management for GBVIMS+.Report Writing & Documentation:Assist in the preparation of the sector’s operation plans/work plans & reviews.Support Sr. Technical Manager-GBVIMS for infographic and factsheet.Take lead for Case Stories documentation.Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.Support to Sr. Technical Manager-GBVIMS to generate quarterly and annually donor specific GBV trend analysis report.Take lead on GBV screening and client feedback survey.  DeliverablesAssist in the planning and implementation of training activities for GBVIMS+Assist in compiling and submitting monthly SBV to the Senior GBVIMS+ manager for sharing with the coordinator
