*Description* *Excellent Gastroenterologist Opportunity –Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)* *Generous $75,000 sign on bonus/retention package and relocation allowance are offered.* Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist in Danbury, Connecticut, located about one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County and next to Westchester County in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join our rapidly growing Digestive Health Institute in a long established and busy practice with 17 physicians and 11 advanced practitioners. Responsibilities include both outpatient practice and inpatient coverage. There is also opportunity for a faculty appointment. Generous $75,000 sign on bonus/retention package and relocation allowance are offered. The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible gastroenterologist looking to join a highly collegial team. This position will have regularly scheduled office/procedure days at nearby New Milford Hospital and our Southbury practice in addition to the main Danbury location. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
