FX Electronic Sales & Distribution, APAC (VP)

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a FX Electronic Sales & Distribution specialist at a Vice President level based in Singapore to cover the APAC region. This candidate will sit in the eSales and eDistribution teams and partner with fellow global team members, FX Sales and Trading teams as well as the eFX Systematic Market Making team to help support and grow the APAC FX client electronic trading business.

This candidate will be responsible for managing all parts of external interfaces including client/venue connections and client relationships around eFX trading and Algo execution strategies as well as ensuring support of client platform connectivity throughout the eFX trading day. This will include connecting with multi dealer platforms, client marketing and eTrading issue management.

Increase eClient engagement via strong communication skillsLead integrations of new ECN channels and client connectivityStrong troubleshooting skills used to identify issues and proposing solutionsStrong knowledge of Foreign Exchange business from Front Office to Back OfficeUnderstanding of FX electronic execution methodologies and channelsDrive technological and operational enhancements that prioritize business and client needsEffectively relay eFX related issues to clients, platforms, sales, and tradingBe a part of a global team to support a 24hr/5.5 businessExperience working with Multi-Dealer Trading Platforms and Fin Tech Providers of post trade solutionsFamiliarity with general OMS workflowsHave a good understanding of the FX regulatory landscape and the FX code of conductExperience with Client Algo solutions/offeringCollaborate with Sales and Trading on new algo strategiesProvide technical and business support to internal stakeholdersValidation/testing of new products/trading tools prior to release to productionFully understand subtleties of execution protocols within Macro asset classesEnsure business and technology impacts related to market structure changes are coordinated and communicated across each line of businessEnsure strategic Macro technology infrastructure aligns across all of Wells Fargo Securities lines of business that engage in electronic tradingDrive Electronic Trading Services priorities, escalation and support partner accountability


In this role, you will:

Work closely with global teams to maintain/improve overall client experience/FX trading system performanceWork closely with 3rd party vendors to resolve production issues as well as system enhancementsReview and analyze complex business and operational objectives that require in-depth evaluationManage FX risk as it pertains to Algo and Benchmark ordersDeveloping reports and data analysis for optimization of algo strategiesComplete work in accordance with all risk management, compliance and business process expectationsMake decisions requiring solid understanding of policies, procedures and compliance requirementsConduct due diligence and portfolio administration as necessary and provide in-depth research on relevant industry trendsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Securities Product Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationExperience in electronic sales and securities product managementFluency in English due to engagement with global
