As an Associate within the FX and Rates Operations team, you will be responsible for understanding trading structures to accurately capture all transactions, complete reconciliation checks, and ensure controls are performed. 

Job responsibilities:

Manage trade lifecycle events such as fixings, call events and triggers. Perform regulatory reporting under Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA) reconciliation and monitoring.Liaise with partners globally such as IT, COO, Market Risk, Ops Risk and Project Management for the implementation of April 2025 JFSA rules enhancements.Provide Operational support to address queries, concerns and questions related to trade lifecycle events and JFSA trade reporting.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: 

At least 4 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. Ability to work in a pressurized environment with tight deadlines to meet on a regular basis.Ability to prioritize and multi-task.Promptness and accuracy, control focused, client focused.Team player with good interpersonal skills and ability to work with operations and technology.Be involved in global as well as local projects aimed for supporting new business, striving for efficiency, and streamlining to increase team's capacity.Well-motivated, enthusiastic, and strong work ethic.Positive attitude in learning and towards changes.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

Proficient programming skills as well as in MS applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Strong knowledge of Compliance / Regulation / MarketStrong knowledge of OTC derivatives/ Bonds/ FXFluent in English and Japanese (at least basic Japanese proficiency is preferred)
