Functional Validation Engineer

As a Functional Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing validation plans to ensure that our SoCs meet the functional operation goals. **Main Responsibilities:** + Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans to ensure SoC functionality, performance, and power goals are met. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design and validation issues, and to optimize design and validation methodologies. + Develop and maintain post-silicon validation infrastructure, including performance monitors, behavioral checkers, and test environments. + Perform silicon debug to identify root causes of failures and resolve functional and triage issues. + Test interactions between SoC features using validation infrastructure and develop content to increase IP interactions. + Publish validation reports and communicate results to relevant teams. + Engage in all phases of the product life cycle, developing and validating content, infrastructure, and bug hunts in multiple environments. **Qualifications** You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. **This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.** **Minimum qualifications** : + Bachelor´s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computing Engineer or similar field. + 1+ year of relevant experience in software development using either C, C++ or Python programing Languages. + Intermediate to advanced English level. + Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico. **Preferred qualifications** : + Knowledge on Linux operating system, driver development or SW development for embedded or SoC systems. + Knowledge of PC architecture or I/O communication protocols, and experience doing HW/SW debug. **Inside this Business Group** The Data Center & Artificial Intelligence Group (DCAI) is at the heart of Intel’s transformation from a PC company to a company that runs the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices.
