Overview:

Assist the Facility & Maintenance Manager, Menzies Atlantic in the day-to-day maintenance of the GSE, facility and tank farm operations.  You will ensure that our fuelling operation is delivered safely and efficiently following all applicable standards.   

 

Main accountabilities include: Maintains Into-Plane Fueling, gas & diesel trucks and GSE equipment. Assists with preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements. Uses diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues with equipment. Operates motorized equipment. Complies with the company’s safety and attendance management policies. Makes required daily, weekly, and monthly entries of fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance documentation. Complies with auditors (with direction from leadership team) Helps transfer products and monitor storage tanks, pipelines, and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent fuel spills, releases, overfills and product contamination. Must be able to clean up and keep the maintenance garage, facility, and Fuel Farm safe and in good order.   Conducts all work safely by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, and federal safe work policies/procedures. Works as part of a team and communicates effectively with supervisory teams.

 

Qualifications and Experience: Must possess and maintain valid Canadian driver’s license. Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in Canada. Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English. Must be able to lift and move up to 70 lb. Must have own tools and be either fa Red Seal mechanic or have heavy duty mechanical experience Experienced with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment and machinery.  Must be able to perform basic math calculations, maintain organized records and documentation. Must be able to obtain and maintain required Airport security pass and AVOP license. Work is partially outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
